RESUSCITATED
Wow, I felt like an addict going through withdrawl. It’s been a long time, friends. My apologies. The move is finally over. I’m back from New Orleans… and the LONG drive home. My car died the day after. (A mere $600 fuel pump. No biggie.) The internet will finally be installed this Wednesday; gotta love Time Warner. We bought a bed and mattress so we’re no longer camping on the floor. Ahhh… exciting times.
In the few minutes I did have internet access, I came across the super-cute new wedding blog, Grey Likes Weddings. Summer’s posts are witty and inspiring, regardless of whether your planning your wedding or thinking of the shoulda, woulda, coulda’s. She’s honest, too. Give it to them straight, Summer. (Crap; I think I broke number four. I don’t think I’ve ever told you. I made my poor bridesmaids wear bubble-gum pink floor-length dresses. I hate pink. Have always hated pink. What was I thinking? Man, 2001 was not a good year for me. My tastes have really evolved.)
Anyway, I should be fully up again on Thursday, but I’ll try to sneak some wifi from some neighbors if I can. Oh, and thank you to everyone who sent over info on New Orleans! We had an amazing time: french quarter, beignets, muffaletta, magazine street, garden district, city park, NOMA… fried everything. Delicious. xoxo.
