While working on my BOCCI post, I came across one of their cited photographers, Michael Boland. I thought I'd share his achitecture and interior shots. He is based out of Vancouver, British Columbia; what a beautiful area to shoot.

The Hollywood, to be exact; a 54-unit loft-like condominium building just off Highland on Yucca Street. How much do you love the exterior? The 18-foot ceilings, aren't bad either.

I'm so excited, Grey Likes Weddings is hosting a DIY Floral Workshop on March 28th in Huntington Beach, CA. Its a great deal: $120/person for two hours of instruction, a boutique, and one arrangement. If you'd like to come as a team of two (i.e. a bride and her bridesmaid or a mother and daughter combo), its $140.Mindy (Cotton Idea Studio) and I will be there; we'd love to see you!

Digging the metal and wood collection over at solidcore. Their products, processes, and the environmental impact are all considered before production of any design. How amazing would it be to build out your office with these? View their site for additional details.

Cutest little birdies I ever did see. Cardinal Café, London; a nice collaboration between MoreySmith and Box3. Such a large space, but still warm and inviting. Love those white back-painted glass walls and wood accents.

Has anyone tried Gap's skinny jean? I love them in this light grey wash... hmmm. I may have to try those on.
The simplistic shapes of the BOCCI collections have really caught my attention. In particular, collection 14: cast glass spheres beautiful with bubbles and rifts. Subtle and understated alone, or a delightful visual overload clustered together.
Then there is collection 22: wall-flush electrical wall accessories. Remember, I am step-daughter to a general contractor; those ugly electrical outlets have always plagued me. These made me smile; little faces mounted into drywall or millwork to my liking.
I'm a sucker for a good tote. Seraph's messenger bag is right up my alley: durable, big (gotta lose my lip gloss somewhere) and affordable. Choose from "One for the Road" or "Nothing Goes According to Plan" for a special price of $39.95. They are scheduled to increase to $60 this week; I hope payday comes quickly.
More Seraph goodies on www.iheartseraph.com. I found the perfect card for... ugghhmmm MY SISTER... "answer your phone". Hopefully, she'll read me loud and clear.
Loving the simplicity and restraint illustrated by Swedish firm Lindvall A&D.
a three day weekend. Hope you all are enjoying your long Presidents' Day weekend. Laureen and Yuliya dropped me a note to help spread the word about their "i love you more than blank" project. Take a minute and submit your love, then peruse others'. I'm really wishing I had that tote.
My submission: i love you more than my maiden name (stetson).
Wow, I felt like an addict going through withdrawl. It's been a long time, friends. My apologies. The move is finally over. I'm back from New Orleans... and the LONG drive home. My car died the day after. (A mere $600 fuel pump. No biggie.) The internet will finally be installed this Wednesday; gotta love Time Warner. We bought a bed and mattress so we're no longer camping on the floor. Ahhh... exciting times.
In the few minutes I did have internet access, I came across the super-cute new wedding blog, Grey Likes Weddings. Summer's posts are witty and inspiring, regardless of whether your planning your wedding or thinking of the shoulda, woulda, coulda's. She's honest, too. Give it to them straight, Summer. (Crap; I think I broke number four. I don't think I've ever told you. I made my poor bridesmaids wear bubble-gum pink floor-length dresses. I hate pink. Have always hated pink. What was I thinking? Man, 2001 was not a good year for me. My tastes have really evolved.)
Anyway, I should be fully up again on Thursday, but I'll try to sneak some wifi from some neighbors if I can. Oh, and thank you to everyone who sent over info on New Orleans! We had an amazing time: french quarter, beignets, muffaletta, magazine street, garden district, city park, NOMA... fried everything. Delicious. xoxo.
