This Saturday was the Grey Likes Weddings DIY Floral Workshop. Summer liked my post title so much, she has now coined the workshops "Arranged". (Yay; I'm good for something!) Mindy and I, along with nine others (including photographers Jasmine Star and Jessica Claire) "treated" our flowers and then got into it. I highly recommend attending if you are in the southern California area; she has scheduled the next workshop for May 31st and is offering a early-bird discount for anyone that registers within the next two weeks!
Thanks to Jasmine Star for the awesome photos! Below are some iPhone shots of Mindy and my arrangement... not too bad for the first time...

I recently came across the Toronto-based online shop, MORBA. When you have a sec, check out it out; lots of lovely items...
Hope you had a nice weekend! xo stets

This ain't your mother's bunco. A group of us girls decided we needed an excuse to gather; we've started a bunco group. None of us have ever played before, so this should be interesting. I am lucky hostess number one and, as you can tell from the lack of posts this week, I am a little consumed by it. I hope to post some photos soon, but until then, you get a snippet of some of the prints I just whipped up for my mantle...

E&L over at the SCOOP are celebrating their second blog-birthday with an OrangeBeautiful giveaway... check it out!
Thought this throw pillow was so adorable... Octopus's Accident Pillow in blue. Made me smile.

Lori Lynn LaBissoniere. She was my first friend... ever. I think I used to get in trouble for biting her. Barbies, Shera Princess of Power, endless days at the Yakima Tennis Club, summer art camps, and family trips. Poor thing, even had to dawn the pink bridesmaid dress I told you about. Time and distance has taken its toll, but ahh, the power of facebook. Lori just launched her new website and she is brilliant... take a look.
Here's to old friends that you should have stuck a little closer to at art camp!

Love the mix of colors in HUB's identity for Chartreuse Portland | New York. Who wouldn't be excited to receive that envelope in the mail!?!

HUB's site is fun, too!
Passed a Z Gallerie the other day and these greek-key coffee and end tables caught my eye. I think they may have had a console table, too. They're over 50% off; pretty good deal.
A good friend sent me a link to Gizmodo: The Periodic Table of Typefaces by Squidspot. So great; why didn't I think of this?
Design For Mankind - Dialogue Episode 1 from Design For Mankind.
Design for Mankind has started a new video series, Dialogue. I watched this with my husband (speaking of quality time, hehe) and I think I may be bruised from his elbow nudges. "That's you... that's you... that's you," he said. Ahh, safety in numbers, right? I am constantly trying to balance... work, freelance work, husband, church, creative musings, friends... blogging! Oh, and somehow, I got a wild hair I am going to start training for a marathon!?! Anyway, I should get going, you know, balancing and all. Watch the video; should be a good series. Thanks, Erin!
Oh Twiggy, how I love thee. How did I not know that you make quite the ceiling light and pendant?

Been a busy weekend; finally decided to paint the kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen: Boulder Grey; bathroom: Modern Loft (with hints of Bicycle Yellow from the chandelier and bath mat. Yes, I know, my bathroom has a weird alcove area where there is a nasty old rod iron chandelier, which of course, is goners as soon as I get home from work tonight!)
While on the Ralph Lauren site, I came across this amazing dresser with stirrup hardware; just lovely.

Its time for some new frames. Selima for J.Crew and Tom Ford make four eyes sehr chic.

I am really enjoying the work of Jenevieve Hubbard. I am not sure how I even came upon her during a google search, but I did and I am very pleased. I love it when that happens.

The stork came this weekend; twice. Welcome new lil' friends, Justin Michael and Max Oliver. I so wish I could bestow good dreams unto you in the Coco Plexistyle lounger.

But I so want to. I recently snagged a chair from craigslist for $20. The cushions definitely need to be recovered. How I wish I could afford some Madeline Weinrib fabrics. Maybe someday; definitely not in this recession. If I were, I would throw in one of those cutest clutches. I mean at that point, why not?
