i would give a little gift each day for my baby's 1st christmas this year and take a photo each day then make a little memory book for him to look back on.

A perfect advent calendar to teach my boys the beauty in permanence and simplicity

I love these! I've been looking for an advent calendar, but I haven't been in love with anything I've seen so far. I love that you can use these in different ways. I think I would use them as a calendar for a couple of years until my son is a little older, then I would use them on daily gifts. These are so simple and beautiful.

I've tweeted but I just couldn't help adding another idea!

+ add string a long still to each number

+ hang as desired

+ add circle cutouts (with holes) that mimic the numbers

+ add a note of something to be grateful for + a way to bring holiday joy to others + a holiday activity

+ attach note to string

oh my gawd! would totally use as advent gift tags for a gift a night from 12/1-25 for my daughter. we've been doing homemade advent calendars every year - our family holiday tradition usually with a holiday activity each day but with these, would have this year's excuse to give her a little holiday gift a day as well... :O)

Am I too late? I just saw your shop featured on Grey Likes Weddings. . .so fun. I've been looking for an adult Advent calendar and this would definitely fit the bill for that. I would most likely use them year after year, but one or two might end up in my December journal, where I collect my memories/stories for the season.
